What the Gathering Is About
The Iluka/Woombah Veterans Gathering is a place where veterans can:
Feel welcome without pressure or obligation / Connect with others who understand their journey
Feel honoured and respected for their service / Strengthen friendships and reduce isolation
Enjoy social outings and activities they choose to be part of /
Build bridges with other veteran organisations
At its core, the gathering is about finding practical, meaningful ways to support veterans wellbeing and sense of self worth,
ensuring every veteran feels valued, included, and part of something positive.

Veteran Community Message
Every story matters. Every veteran belongs.
Not every veteran feels proud of their service. For some, the memories are
complicated, and pride is not the word that fits. That is okay.
Your service still matters. Your resilience, sacrifice, and presence strengthen our community.

in between, are respected and supported.
